Dezura finished 4-2 in the 16 team Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic qualifying round, held October 3 - 6, 2014 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. In their opening game, Dezura defeated Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) 5-4, then went on to lose 8-4 against Jim Cotter (Kelowna/Vernon, BC). Dezura responded with a 7-4 win over Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC). Dezura went on to lose 4-3 against Christopher Plys (Blaine, USA). Dezura responded with a 9-1 win over Randie Shen (Taipei, TPE). Dezura won 10-4 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic Championship title, Dezura earned 9.950 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 25 spots the World Ranking Standings into 56th place overall with 20.950 total points. Dezura ranks 24th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.450 points earned so far this season.
