Kathy O'Rourke (Charlottetown, PEI) run at the 2013 Curl Atlantic Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-3 loss to Heather Smith-Dacey (Halifax, NS).

O'Rourke finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, O'Rourke lost 5-4 to Stacie Devereaux (S. John's, NL), then responded with a 5-3 win over Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB). O'Rourke won 6-4 against Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS), then won 7-2 against Mary Sue Radford (Halifax, NS) and 7-2 against Colleen Pinkney (Truro, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

O'Rourke earned 1.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Curl Atlantic Championship, moving up 36 spots the World Ranking Standings into 113th place overall with 3.200 total points. O'Rourke ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.500 points earned so far this season.
