Erika Brown (Madison, WI) won 5-4 over Kristy Russell (Shelburne, ON) in the Final of the KW Fall Classic, held September 20 - 23, 2012 in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Brown won 6-2 over Lisa Farnell (Elgin, ON) in the semifinals of the 2012 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario; and won 5-2 over Ontario's Jill Brothers in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario;
 
Brown finished 3-1 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Courtney Hodgson (Guelph, ON) 6-2, then went on to lose 7-4 against Ontario's Jill Brothers. Brown responded with a 9-2 win over Caitlin Romain (Kitchener, ON). Brown won 7-1 against Ashley Waye (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the KW Fall Classic Championship title, Brown earned 7.900 world rankings points along with the $3,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 20th place overall with 49.050 total points. Brown ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.300 points earned so far this season.
