Ji-Sun Kim (Korea) qualified for the 2010 Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO).
 
Kim finished 5-2 in the 32 team Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic qualifying round, held October 15 - 18, 2010 at the Medicine Hat Curling Club in , Canada. In their opening game, Kim lost 5-4 to Lisa Eyamie (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 6-3 win over Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC). Kim went on to lose 7-4 against Morgan Muise (Calgary, AB). Kim responded with a 7-5 win over Liudmila Privivkova (Moskov, RUS). Kim won 9-6 against Samantha Yachiw (Saskatchewan), then won 10-3 against Brett Barber (Saskatchewan) and 9-1 against Jerri Pat Armstrong-Smith (British Columbia) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kim earned 7.440 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic. For week 6 of the event schedule, Kim did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kim ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
