Muirhead finished 4-0 in the 32 team Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic qualifying round, held October 15 - 18, 2010 at the Medicine Hat Curling Club in , Canada. In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Nicole Blenkin (Calgary, AB) 13-2, then won 7-3 against Vicki Sjolie (Medicine Hat, AB) and 6-2 against Jerri Pat Armstrong-Smith (British Columbia). Muirhead won 9-1 against Lindsay Makichuk (Lloydminster, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic, Muirhead take home 12.400 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 10th place overall with 110.763 total points. Muirhead ranks 36th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.400 points earned so far this season.
