Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic qualifying round, held October 12 - 15, 2007 at the Medicine Hat Curling Club in , Canada. In their opening game, Meguro defeated Megan Kirk (Lethbridge, AB) 11-6, then won 8-4 against Diane Foster (Calgary, AB) and 10-7 against Jill Winters (Nelson, BC). Meguro went on to lose 8-6 against Joanne Delanoy (Edmonton, AB). Meguro responded with a 11-6 win over Brittany Gregor (Calgary, AB). Meguro went on to lose 7-5 against Vicki Sjolie (Medicine Hat, AB, CAN). Meguro responded with a 9-5 win over Kirk in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic Championship title, Meguro earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $5,200CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Meguro did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Meguro ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
