Mahra Harris (Victoria, BC) won 6-1 over Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) in the Final of the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, held October 2 - 5, 2025 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Harris won 7-5 over Shiella Cowan (New Westminster, BC) in the semifinals
Harris finished 2-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harris lost 6-3 to Kelsey Powell (Vernon, BC), droppimg another game, 8-1 to Wark where Harris responded with a 8-4 win over British Columbia's Megan Rempel. Harris won 10-8 against Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic Championship title, Harris earned 6.750 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 37 spots the World Ranking Standings into 113th place overall with 10.928 total points. Harris ranks 83rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.750 points earned so far this season.
