To advance to the championship game, Carson won 7-5 over Cameron Bryce (Norder, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2025 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland, Scotland; and won 7-3 over Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland, Scotland;
Carson finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carson defeated Yves Stocker (Oberwallis, SUI) 6-5, then won 8-3 against Scotland's Arran Thomson and 5-4 against Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER). Carson went on to lose 6-2 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mercure Perth Masters Championship title, Carson earned 30.000 world rankings points along with the $14,183CDN first prize cheque. Carson move up 78 spots after posting a net gain of 27.047 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 75th overall with 38.719 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Carson ranks 71st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 32.813 points earned so far this season.
