Stordahl finished 7-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stordahl defeated Dana Selnekovicova (Prague, CZE) 7-3, then won 6-5 against Hugh Nibloe (Stirling, SCO) and 9-3 against United States's Matt Thums. Stordahl went on to lose 9-2 against Ain Villau (Tallinn, EST). Stordahl lost 6-3 to Agris Lasmans (Riga, LAT). Stordahl lost 6-3 to Egidio Marchese (Trentino, ITA) where Stordahl responded with a 7-3 win over Radoslav Duris (Bratislava, SVK). Stordahl won 6-5 against Korea's Huitae Yang, then won 7-6 against Wang. Stordahl went on to lose 8-0 against Ideson. Stordahl responded with a 7-6 win over Marcus Holm (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
