Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2022 WFG Masters playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO). of the 2022 WFG Masters in Oakville, Ontario;

Whyte finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whyte defeated Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) 7-3, then won 10-5 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI). Whyte went on to lose 6-4 against Oskar Eriksson (Karlstad, SWE). Whyte responded with a 9-7 win over Colton Flasch (Saskatoon , SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Whyte earned 30.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the WFG Masters, remaining in 10th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.66 after improving upon their best so far this season. Whyte ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 147.000 points earned so far this season.
