Whyte responded with a 5-4 win over Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Whyte earned 36.444 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GSOC Masters. Whyte move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 8.248 points improving upon their best 2 results so far this season, ranking 13th overall with 169.374 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Whyte ranks 9th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 68.634 points earned so far this season.
