Edin finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI) 7-5, then won 7-4 against Yuta Matsumura (Kitami, JPN). Edin went on to lose 4-2 against Jacobs. Edin responded with a 6-1 win over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Boost National, Edin take home 66.580 world rankings points along with the $20,000CDN prize, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 25.329 after improving upon their best so far this season.
