To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 7-3 over Robin Brydone (Perth, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2019 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland; and won 6-3 over Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland;
Mouat finished 4-1 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Steffen R. Mellemseter (Oslo, NOR) 8-2, then won 6-5 against Mikhail Vaskov (Dmitrov, RUS). Mouat went on to lose 6-4 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). Mouat responded with a 7-5 win over Steffen Walstad (Oppdal, NOR). Mouat won 7-6 against Muirhead in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mercure Perth Masters Championship title, Mouat earned 40.709 world rankings points along with the $12,260CDN first prize cheque.
