Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) won 7-2 over Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the The National, held November 10 - 15, 2015 in Oshawa, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Gushue won 8-6 over John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2015 The National in Oshawa, Ontario; and won 9-4 over Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 The National in Oshawa, Ontario;

Gushue finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) 8-5, then went on to lose 9-6 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). Gushue responded with a 7-3 win over Jean-Michel Menard (Quebec, QC). Gushue won 4-2 against Ulsrud in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the The National Championship title, Gushue earned 83.247 world rankings points along with the $24,500CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 813.286 total points. Gushue ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 431.386 points earned so far this season.
