Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) run at the 2015 Masters of Curling came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-3 loss to Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC). of the 2015 Masters of Curling in Truro, Nova Scotia; Laycock advanced through the quarterfinals with a 5-2 win over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL).
 
Laycock finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Laycock lost 7-1 to Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) where Laycock responded with a 6-5 win over Shawn Adams (Halifax, NS). Laycock won 7-1 against Pat Simmons (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Laycock earned 50.633 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Masters of Curling, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 531.653 total points. Laycock ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 226.423 points earned so far this season.
