Melanie Wild (Dubendorf, SUI) 7-6, then won 6-4 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) and 4-3 against Andrea Schoepp (Garmisch, GER). Vevers went on to lose 7-3 against Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS). Vevers lost 7-4 to Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN) where Vevers responded with a 9-2 win over Czech Republic's Linda Klimova. Vevers won 8-5 against Daniela Driendl (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Vevers earned 6.870 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the International Bernese Ladies Cup. For week 22 of the event schedule, Vevers did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Vevers ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
