Pascal Hess (Zug, SUI) 6-4, then went on to lose 6-2 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Scotland's Iain Watt responded with a 9-5 win over Japan's Yusuke Morozumi. Scotland's Iain Watt won 4-2 against Hungary's Gyeorgy Nagy. Scotland's Iain Watt went on to lose 6-1 against Hammy McMillan (Stranraer, SCO). Scotland's Iain Watt lost 5-4 to Fengchun Wang (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
