The National The first Slam event of the season, “The National”, hits the ice November 2-6, 2005 and will feature many of the top high-performance men’s teams in the world battling for a $100,000 prize purse. It is anticipated the field will include the eventual 2006 Canadian Men’s Olympic Team, which will represent Canada at the Olympic Winter Games in Pinerolo, Italy, in February. Prize Breakdown: 1st - $28,000 2nd - $16,000 SF - $12,000 QF - $8,000
