If anybody suggests to you that watching curling is boring, just direct them to the men's quarterfinal games today at the Curl Mesabi Classic. Farbelow vs Bonot. Six blank ends, then Farbelow gets 1 in 7th and 1 in 8th to win 2-0. I admit I was not there to watch but the scoreboard says it all. [yawn]

I am wondering how the ice was in Mesabi? A lot of high scoring ends and then this yawner.

Maybe they need the 5 rock rule.

The score doesn't indicate whether the game was "boring" or not.
If every end started with a draw to the 4' and then bang bang bang, then yes it was probably boring.
On the other hand, maybe there were tons of run back doubles and such????

The game was pretty boring. Bonot got hammer right away due to being the higher seed and anything we put in they hammered out. I guess there was something about them being in the points lead to get an auto bid to provincials so they just had to finish higher than Hackner. That is why I am guessing they tried to play that way.

Then why wouldn't you put up some guards and force them to make some shots other than hit hit hit. I don't blame them to hit everything, they still have hammer.

It often takes 2 teams to make a game really boring. Looks like these guys did just that.
