prediction .. martin talks dave into it ... or heather does ... id love to dave win a gold .. one of the great ones
john sits out and picks up 3 winners like gushue has ... i could win with these 3
Mark Dacey would be a good choice for Martin for 1 year

apparently kevin. marc, and ben thought he was a good fit ...didnt take them along to decide to offer it to him either ...
cmon dave ... change your mind ...its only a week if you lose in dec and only another week if you win ...

That's rich coming from somebody who comments, speculates, and otherwise drones on about damned near everything short of his own flatulence. (Perhaps you save that for different website?)

Hard to say if this quote (of which we have very little context):
"Kennedy confirms that they reached out to Dave Nedohin to see if he'd be interested"
really means they "offered" the position to Dave. They may simply have been checking if he was even open to being considered. Kennedy is also quoted as saying "The three of us havent actually had a chance to sit down and really talk about it, so it seems unlikely that there would have been an actual offer to anyone yet.
The speculation is fun, though!

Manitoba Legend was offered the third spot on Morris new team.
I heard it on CurlingZone, must be true. "Alberta Legend" will begin posting next season.
Seriously now, Nedohin said recently and clearly on TV he wouldn't play next season. Gushue lives in Newfoundland. Etc etc. Don't let practicalities and common sense affect what you post on here.

Who really cares what happens, who fills John Morris's vacated position and if John hooks up with a team headed for either the trials or pretrials. Life goes on and all that information and $1.50 will still get you a cup of coffee.

I agree, lets put a stop to all discussion on a discussion board. Makes perfect sense.

i care - i like watching these guys .. sometimes i question their shots , speed of play ( not wayne 's ) , occaisional faux pas, hogs, -- i accidentally came back here last week and noticed the forthcoming announcements .. will continue checking in .. we make a few odd comments here but in general most are thought provoking or an opinion .. a couple of trades are quite interesting to a lot here methinks .. if it bothers someone probably best not to click on " morris has... "
if i was going to get ticked off - it would be that occaisional is underlined as a spel cheque and i googled the corect splg -whch i hadd usd in the first place .. but ill liv

As I mentioned on page three, John Morris is indeed playing with Jim Cotter next season. This has been confirmed by the CCA.

Okay, looks like they buried this fact in their text blurb.

From the Team Cotter FB page....
Just wanting to update everyone and let you know that John Morris has joined our curling team. He approached us with a 5 man team option, not with the intent to replace anyone on the team. Not every day an opportunity of this magnitude presents itself, ALL of us agreed it's a great opportunity. No one is out, everyone is 100% in. Obviously, there are a lot of questions to still answer so we are planning a team get together on May Long Weekend so will provide updates as we learn more. Just know we are super excited with the addition of John Morris. Stay tuned for more details. Feel free to ask questions and we'll do our best to answer the ones we know the answer to. Stay tuned.....

Well it's all hugs and kisses at the moment. According to their FB post. https://www.facebook.com/TeamCotter
Maybe Morris'll skip. No finer gentleman curler than Mr. Cotter. I'd like to be in his camp. I predict team effort rather than TopDown MartinStyle.

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. Is Morris moving, like Gunner did, to Vernon? Is this just for the Trials? Playdowns?
And before BC curlers panic, it bears mentioning that everyone thought Gunner made this team invincible. Yet they didn't make it to the playoffs at provincials this year.
