You have a round robin that ends in a 3 way tie and however you determine a 1st, 2nd and 3rd then that is locked in. First goes to the final and gets hammer, 2nd gets hammer in the SF.

I understand your position. However, that is obviously not WCF's position.
In a single round robin format, WCF never uses DSC to decide LSFE. DSC is used minimally, only whenever necessary, and always as a last resort.
Personally I think that's the way to go. Lots of people hate whenever DSC plays any role in a competition, so I think those people would be thankful that WCF does not use DSC to decide LSFE.

Scheidegger was also in first place after the round robin……

What a textbook dismantling by Koe in the final. Poor Appleman, any other province and he's probably made a Brier already.

Good team. Very good team. But what makes you think he’d win any other province or territory anywhere. MB no. SK no. ON no. PQ 33%. NB NS BC same. NL never unless Gushue is TC. NWT 40% vs koe. Maybe move to or represent Nunavut.
The same can be said for all teams from other provinces not in the top 2 or 3.
Very full of yourself/AB self that a good team, not great team would win any other province.
All provinces have 2-3 teams that have a legitimate chance to win. Some have big sponsorships and CC cash. Some don’t. That’s the only difference.

You do understand the words "PROBABLY made a Brier" is not a guarantee?
But he has made 2 Alberta finals in tough fields. So chances are if he was in provinces with weaker fields, PEI, NS, NB, Que, BC, NWT and NU he would have a decent chance of winning one year. Not guaranteed, but decent, hence the word probably. His team is certainly on par with the Grattons, JKoes, Murphys, SpudMckenzies, Fourniers who win those provinces regularly and he'd have a puncher's chance against the Cotters or Gunners.
As for the full of yourself/AB self, not sure what you mean but I ain't from Alberta.

Koe put on a clinic for sure. Loved the women's game too, could have been won by either of them.

Kate Cameron was the difference in that one. She has gone from seeming a bit off in the big game to looking comfortable. Seems to be headed from very good third territory to elite level and Walker is serious threat to win Scotties.
