You are right. Final 9-3. The delightful Eve will grace Lethbridge in a month or so.

Thumbs up Germany and Scotland-strong Teams

That's 23 out of 26 years for Andrea
Fans are going to love her Team..they are very good shotmakers and even better than her world champion Team of 2010.

2010 Silver medallist Eve Muirhead also has her strongest Team ever..so that's two good ones entertaining the crowds in Lethbridge next month.

Exclamation LIVE casts on NOW

I am happy to see Lene Neilsen get out of Denmark again..
Klimova (CZE) is getting stronger as well..she's had a great season
and Finally..they are listing Sidorova as skip for Russia since she has been for most of this season. She has more fire and aggression in her than Privivlova and loves to win.. she will be very tough!

BTW.. for anyone who needs their curling fix..

Swiss Nationals :LIVE cast .today at 1pm ET..

Switzerland

Mirjam ott beat michele jaeggi 9-6 in the semi

michele will play binia feltscher tommorrow morning and the winner plays mirjam

once again im disappointed. Binia is a proven weak rep. She has flopped badly at the worlds and euros as skip in fact manuela siegrist got more wins skipping the teams at euros then she did. I really hope michele beats her tommorrow and then beats mirjam in the final.

honestly she's becoming one of those teams who's a threat on the cash spiel circuit but when it gets time to compete in nationals she's average at best. She can pull off the occasional win over mirjam or michele but she isnt good enough to beat them on a regular basis.

i kind of feel bad for her because she was a good junior and probably after winning the world juniors alot was expected of her but she's had mirjam in her way for the longest time and now michele has come up and already moved past her and manuela is siegrist is catching up.

its hards to see her ever getting out of switzerland again..atleast any time soon

at the olympics and europeans yes she has a great history but not at worlds

2 european golds actually

my point was just that while she is very strong at euros and olympics her record at worlds isnt great

in fact she's only even made the playoffs at worlds once

Getting to the worlds FIVE times is a pretty darn good record and she improved her results with each successive outing.. with a Bronze in 2008 ( 9-2 record) and in 2009 was just nipped of a playoff position

Europeans: You are right she did get TWO Gold, 3 silver and 3 Bronze

She is one good competitor getting TWO Olympic silvers and although I kinda doubt she will reach the podium with the strong field in Lethbridge.. she will be trouble for many Teams

i am not trying to say she's not a very good curler. In my mind she's easily one of the best to get to worlds that has never won

i was just thrown by your saying she almost always podiums because i thought we were speaking specifically about the world championships

Interesting about Kelly Wood for another reason. Accepting this position re-sets her Canadian eligibility. So it looks like Kelly has no intention of attempting to play for Canada.

She curls out of Swift Current CC.
