Bonspiel Prize order
Hi all, I'm looking for the proper order for prize selection in a bonspiel. We have 32 teams with four events, I wasn't present last year but there was some people mad at what the order was.
I believe we are going
1st in A, 2nd in A, 1st in B, 1st inC, 1st in D, 2nd in B, 2nd in C 2nd in D, is this right?
3rd and 4th will just be decied by coin toss and we wil just go A through D.

It would also depend on how a team got to the D event.
We used to have the 1st event semi-final losers drop to the D event (semis or sometimes straight to the final). So in our case the B and D event winners might only have one loss (potentially to the same team) whereas the winner of the C might have two losses (which theoretically could have been to the B and D event winners).

Assuming 3-game guarantee and that teams in D-event lost their first 2 games, I suggest
A1, A2, B1, C1, B2, D1, C2, D2
First 4 positions seem obvious. B2 and D1 both have 3-2 records so give nod to higher event. Last two both have 2-3 records so again give nod to higher event.

I think you might be plugged the charging end of the USB into the outlet while it was connected to the PC. You just need to remove plugged immediately and go back here to disable the pass lock by fixing the key. I hope this will help you to solve this kind of troubleshoots.

How many prizes do you give out? Seems like a lot of prizes to me. Perhaps I have not been to a fancy spiel, but just expect
A winner/loser
B WInner/loser
etc.
Never thought about whether B loser was ranked higher than C winner.

We have gone be away from prizes.
Cash or gift cards. Makes it so much easier. Order of prizes no longer matters. Value is equal.
Example: A2 =B1, B2=C1…….
I might add, if I may, do not cheap out on prizes/ prize money. You want the happy people to remain happy and return.
