 Japan's Satsuki Fujisawa receives a bye direct to Sunday's semifinals, while six teams battle tonight at 8 pm Eastern Time in the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic quarterfinals. Fujisawa went undefeated finishing 5-0 as the top seed due to her shootout total of 40.7 centimetres, a cumulative total of their best four pre-game draw shots. Teams exclude the worst shot of their five draws for hammer. Ottawa's Rachel Homan also went undefeated, their shootout total of 86.2 cm ranking them second overall, setting them up for a rematch against Montreal's Laurie St-Georges. Homan won 5-3 in their round-robin meeting on Thursday. Calgary's Kayla Skrlik (4-1) finishes as the third seed, will face Rebecca Morrison of Scotland (3-2) as the sixth seed, with the winners of these two games facing each other in the semifinals. Switzerland's Silvana Tirinzoni finished 4-1 as the fourth seed to face fifth seeded Eun ji Gim (4-1) of Korea, with the winner taking on Fujisawa in the quarterfinals. Women's quarterfinals go at 8 pm on Saturday, with the semifinals on Sunday at 8:30 am. The championship final will play at Noon on Sunday and will be available across Ontario on COGECO's YourTV network.
