After blanking the first end, Hasselborg scored a single point in the second end, then forced Schwaller into a single point in the third end. Settled into the final game, Hasselborg went to work in the fourth end, scoring three points to lead 4-1 at the halfway point. Schwaller, with Selina Gafner at third, Fabienne Rieder at second, and Selina Rychiger got two points back in the fifth end, but that was the last time the Swiss side saw the scoreboard. Hasselborg scored a single in the sixth end; then, after limiting Schwaller to a blank in the seventh, the Swedish side stole 3 points in the eighth end to clinch the win. Haselborg won 7-0 over Denmark's Madeleine Dupont in Sunday's semifinals, while Schwaller defeated Dilsat Yildiz of Turkiye 6-3 in their half of the bracket. Hasselborg and Schwaller received direct berths into the semifinals after winning their six-team pools. Dupont won 6-0 over Norway's Marianne Roervik in Saturday evening's quarterfinals, while Yildiz won 5-4 over Sweden's Moa Dryburgh.
