They took on Switzerland's Xenia Schwaller in round robin action Thursday morning, losing the opening draw to the button for the hammer. Schwaller controlled the opening end, grabbing their deuce with an open hit and stick. Einarson was forced to draw to the eight-foot for their single in the second. Schwaller attempted the nose tap for a possible four points; they ended up hitting it a bit high, having to settle for their single. Einarson cracked the first three of the game after a missed double attempt from Schwaller. In the fifth end, Schwaller was forced to touch four-foot for their single point. Einarson kept up with the offense, grabbing four points with a runback and sticking the shooter. It was handshakes after Schwaller was only able to grab one in the seventh end, resulting in an 8-5 victory for Einarson. Einarson now sits at a 2-1 record in Toronto, also defeating Japan's Sayaka Yoshimura 6-4 and losing to Korea's Eunjung Kim 5-2. In their next game, they will face Ontario's Rachel Homan at 6:30 pm Central Time (CT) on Thursday. They will wrap up round robin on Friday against Isabella Wrana at 10:30 am CT.
