They look to complete their career Grand Slams as a team this week. Winning every other slam besides the Players, if they were to win, they would join a short list of players who completed it. They took on Sweden's Isabella Wrana in round-robin action, losing the opening draw to the button for the hammer. Wrana was forced to draw to the four-foot for their single point in the first end. That was the last Wrana scored in this matchup. Homan grabbed four, drawing to the paint. Steal of two in the third after a light Wrana. Another steal of two after Wrana failed to make the open hit and stick. It was handshakes in the fifth when Wrana decided to slide directly through the rings to give up another steal of one, taking the 9-1 victory. In Homan's opening match, they defeated Switzerland's Xenia Schwaller 7-5, then suffered a loss to Japan's Sayaka Yoshimura 8-4. In their next game, they face Manitoba's Kerri Einarson at 7:30 pm Eastern Time (ET). Then they wrap up round robin on Friday with Korea's Eunjung Kim at 7:30 pm ET. Homan currently sits at a 71-7 record on the season, winning back-to-back world titles, continuing their impressive run these last two seasons.
