Cailey Locke (St. John's, NL) finished 3-5 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Locke lost 8-6 to Melodie Forsythe (Fredericton, NB), droppimg another game, 10-5 to Kate Weissent (Halifax, NS) where Locke responded with a 8-6 win over Anne Sophie Gionest (Saguenay, QC). Locke went on to lose 10-6 against Myla Plett (Edmonton, AB). Locke responded with a 10-4 win over Ava Beausoleil (Saskatoon, SK). Locke went on to lose 6-5 against Cassidy Dundas (Winnipeg, MB). Locke responded with a 5-3 win over Sophie Blades (Cornwall, PEI). Locke went on to lose 8-6 against Dominique Vivier (Oakville, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Locke earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Locke did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Locke ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
