To advance to the championship game, McCarville won 9-4 over Robyn Despins (Thunder Bay, NO) in the semifinals of the Northern Ontario Women's Provincial in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada;
McCarville finished 5-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville defeated Claire Dubinsky (Kakabeka Falls, NO) 9-3, then won 8-3 against Ashley Palmer (Thunder Bay, NO) and 9-6 against Artichuk. McCarville won 10-1 against Laura Johnston (North Bay, NO). McCarville went on to lose 6-5 against Despins. McCarville responded with a 9-8 win over Lauren Mann (Timmins, NO) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Northern Ontario Women's Provincial Championship title, McCarville earned 7.500 world rankings points, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 87.391 total points. McCarville ranks 36th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 70.000 points earned so far this season.
