Sarah-Jane Sass (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-3 over Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Curling Cup, held November 1 - 3 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Sass won 8-5 over Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB) to advance to the championship game. of the MCT Curling Cup in Winnipeg, Manitoba; of the MCT Curling Cup in Winnipeg, Manitoba;

Sass finished 3-0 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sass defeated Zoey Terrick (Winnipeg, MB) 6-4, then won 8-3 against Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-6 against Elizabeth Cousins (Nashua, NH) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the MCT Curling Cup Championship title, Sass earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $1,975CDN first prize cheque. For week 14 of the event schedule, Sass did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sass ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
