Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) lost 6-5 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the KIOTI National, held November 26 - December 1, 2024 in St. John, Newfoundland / Labrador. To advance to the championship game, Hasselborg won 7-1 over Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 KIOTI National in St. John, Newfoundland / Labrador; and won 7-6 over Christina Black (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals.

Hasselborg finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg defeated Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) 7-3, then won 6-2 against Eun ji Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR) and 6-4 against Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN). Hasselborg won 9-5 against Xenia Schwaller (Zurich, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the KIOTI National, Hasselborg take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $32,000CDN prize. Hasselborg move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 37 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 5th overall with 331.750 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
