Jenna Pomedli (Saskatoon, SK) won 7-4 over Ava Beausoleil (Saskatoon, SK) in the Final of the Saskatchewan U20 Junior Provincials, held February 21 - 25, 2024 at the Twin Rivers Curling Club in North Battleford, Canada.
Pomedli finished 3-2 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pomedli lost 10-6 to Renee Wood (Martensville, SK), then responded with a 8-1 win over Elizabeth Kessel (Watrous, SK). Pomedli went on to lose 10-7 against Chloe Semeniuk (North Battleford, SK) to drop into a A-Qualifier game where they responded with a 6-1 win over Hannah Rugg (Regina, SK) to advance to the playoff round.. Pomedli won 8-7 against Beausoleil in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Saskatchewan U20 Junior Provincials Championship title, Pomedli earned 3.750 world rankings points, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 129th place overall with 12.375 total points. Pomedli ranks 128th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.375 points earned so far this season.
