Wilson/Dow Reaches 2024 Ontario Kinghome Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship Quarters

Lyndsey Wilson/Scott Dow (Palmerston, ON) qualified for the 2024 Ontario Kinghome Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 11-6 against Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Stouffville, ON).

Wilson/Dow finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wilson/Dow defeated Candice Johnston/Sean Harrison (Newmarket, ON) 10-3, then won 7-4 against Lynn Kreviazuk/David Mathers (Ottawa, ON) and 5-4 against Olivia Forster/Kyle Forster (Elmira, ON). Wilson/Dow went on to lose 13-12 against Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON). Wilson/Dow responded with a 7-5 win over Denise Mulville/Anthony Hale (Kingston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Wilson/Dow earned 6.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Ontario Kinghome Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship. For week 31 of the event schedule, Wilson/Dow did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 367th to 383rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 0.750 total points. Wilson/Dow ranks 372nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.750 points earned so far this season.
