Ackerman went on to lose 10-5 against Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK). Ackerman responded with a 14-6 win over Jessica Mitchell (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Viterra Saskatchewan Scotties Championship title, Ackerman earned 22.500 world rankings points. Ackerman move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 20.625 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 29th overall with 129.282 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Ackerman ranks 26th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 105.063 points earned so far this season.
