Skrlik finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skrlik defeated Jodi Vaughan (Lethbridge, AB) 12-4, then won 6-5 against Emily Clark (Leduc, AB) and 7-4 against Atina Ford Johnston (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Ladies Alberta Open Championship title, Skrlik earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $3,200CDN first prize cheque.
