Brendan Bottcher (Calgary, AB) run at the 2024 Montana's Brier came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-3 loss to Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2024 Montana's Brier in Regina, Saskatchewan;

Bottcher finished 6-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bottcher defeated Andrew Symonds (St. John's, NL) 11-3, then won 8-3 against Thomas Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) and 8-2 against Scott Howard (Penetanguishene, ON). Bottcher went on to lose 6-5 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NO). Bottcher responded with a 10-5 win over Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Bottcher won 15-3 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB), then won 9-4 against Catlin Schneider (Victoria, BC). Bottcher went on to lose 6-3 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Bottcher earned 40.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Montana's Brier, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 15 after improving upon their best so far this season. Bottcher ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 366.750 points earned so far this season.
