To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 8-4 over Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN) in the semifinals of the Womens Masters Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland, Switzerland; and won 4-1 over Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) in the quarterfinals. of the Womens Masters Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland, Switzerland;
Tirinzoni finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. .
