Kleiter finished 3-1 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleiter defeated Matthew Drewitz (Saskatoon , SK) 5-3, then won 7-2 against Garret Springer (Regina, SK). Kleiter went on to lose 6-5 against Kody Hartung (Saskatoon, SK). Kleiter responded with a 5-4 win over Bruce Korte (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Nutana SaskTour Men's Spiel, Kleiter take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $1,525CDN prize, remaining in 26th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 7 after improving upon their best so far this season.
