Bruce Mouat (STIRLING, SCO) won 5-2 over John Shuster (Duluth , MN) in the Final of the Aberdeen International Curling Championship, held March 14 - 17, 2024 at the Curl Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 6-5 over Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2024 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland, Scotland; and won 3-1 over Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO) in the quarterfinals.
 
Mouat finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI) 4-2, then won 10-3 against Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) and 6-3 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Mouat won 7-4 against Jongduk Park (Gangwon, KOR), then won 6-2 against Sixten Totzek (Füssen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Aberdeen International Curling Championship Championship title, Mouat earned 41.250 world rankings points along with the $4,307CDN first prize cheque. Mouat move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 17.875 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 367.250 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Mouat ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 367.250 points earned so far this season.
