Sobering went on to lose 7-2 against Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA) in their final qualifying round match.

Sobering earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 121st place overall with 25.644 total points. Sobering ranks 146th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.500 points earned so far this season.
