Grandy won 7-1 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg , MB) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 4-3 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
Grandy earned 13.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel. Grandy gained -13.734 points improving upon their best 6 events, though dropped 6 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 25thplace overall with 149.203 total points. Grandy ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 67.500 points earned so far this season.
