Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) won 10-2 over Matt Lukas (Vaduz, LIE) in the Final of the European Curling Championships C-Division, held April 29 - May 6, 2023 in Dumfries, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Nikolov won 6-4 over Gabor Bor Zelinka (Ljubljana, SLO) in the semifinals of the 2023 European Curling Championships C-Division in Dumfries, Scotland;
Nikolov are currently 5-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nikolov defeated Giorgi Jeiranashvili (Tbilisi, GEO) 17-4, then went on to lose 8-2 against Konrad Stych (Lodz, POL). Nikolov responded with a 11-5 win over Alexandros Arampatzis (Athens, GRE). Nikolov won 14-0 against Lukas, then won 8-7 against Zelinka and 8-5 against Josep Garcia (Andorra, AND). In their next game, Nikolov plays.
For winning the European Curling Championships C-Division Championship title, Nikolov earned 7.500 world rankings points. For week 40 of the event schedule, Nikolov did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Nikolov ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
