Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) qualified for the 2023 Nutrien Ag Solutions Western Showdown playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Jolene Campbell (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2023 Nutrien Ag Solutions Western Showdown in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Skrlik finished 3-1 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skrlik lost 7-4 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN), then responded with a 8-3 win over Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI). Skrlik won 6-3 against Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK), then won 9-5 against Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
