Gushue finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB) 8-2, then won 6-5 against Bottcher. Gushue went on to lose 6-5 against Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI). Gushue responded with a 7-3 win over Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Gushue earned 42.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1. Gushue move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of -9.625 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 3rd overall with 341.750 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
