Hoesli won 9-5 against Christian Gebert (Aarau, SUI), then won 7-4 against Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) and 6-5 against Andrin Schnider (Schaffhausen, SUI). Hoesli went on to lose 5-3 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Hoesli earned 22.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Swiss Curling Championships.
