Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) run at the 2023 Manitoba Scotties came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-5 loss to Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2023 Manitoba Scotties in East St. Paul, Manitoba;
 
Lawes finished 7-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawes defeated Emma Jensen (Winnipeg, MB) 10-0, then won 9-2 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-4 against Katy Lukowich (Winnipeg, MB). Lawes won 8-6 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg , MB), then won 9-4 against Chelsea Carey (East St. Paul, MB) and 12-7 against Walter. Lawes won 9-1 against Lisa McLeod (Portage La Prarie, MB). Lawes went on to lose 9-5 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
