Jonathan Vilandt (Hvidovre, DEN) finished 1-4 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vilandt lost 5-4 to Sweden's Patric Klaremo, droppimg another game, 9-4 to Mats Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE). Vilandt lost 10-1 to Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) where Vilandt responded with a 6-4 win over James Craik (Stirling, SCO). Vilandt went on to lose 9-2 against Ugurcan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR) in their final qualifying round match.

Vilandt earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 30 of the event schedule, Vilandt did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Vilandt ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
