Koe won 8-4 against Karsten Sturmay (St. Albert, AB), then won 8-7 against Sluchinski to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 6-5 against Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Alberta Boston Pizza Cup Championship title, Koe earned 30.000 world rankings points, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 26.25 after improving upon their best so far this season.
