CHAMPION: Liscumb/Liscumb Wins 2022 Ilderton Mixed Doubles Spiel

Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) won 8-1 over Katie Cottrill/Shawn Cottrill (Belgrave, ON) in the Final of the Ilderton Mixed Doubles Spiel, held November 12 - 13, 2022 at the Ilderton Curling Club in Ilderton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Liscumb/Liscumb won 6-3 over Kimberly Tuck/Wayne Tuck (Strathroy, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 Ilderton Mixed Doubles Spiel in Ilderton, Ontario, Canada; and won 9-7 over Claire Randell/Nicholas Lemieux (St. Catharines, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Ilderton Mixed Doubles Spiel in Ilderton, Ontario, Canada;

Liscumb/Liscumb finished 2-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liscumb/Liscumb defeated Amanda Gebhardt/Andrew Fairfull (Listowel, ON) 6-5, then won 10-7 against Harley Rohrbacher/Vincent Scebbi (Cleveland, OH). Liscumb/Liscumb went on to lose 8-6 against Hailey Money/William Henry (Brantford, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ilderton Mixed Doubles Spiel Championship title, Liscumb/Liscumb earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 15 of the event schedule, Liscumb/Liscumb did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Liscumb/Liscumb ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
