Clancy Grandy (Vancouver, BC) run at the DEKALB Superspiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-7 loss to Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB). of the DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; Grandy advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-4 win over Andrea Kelly (Fredericton, NB).
Grandy finished 3-0 in the 20 team DEKALB Superspiel qualifying round, held December 2 - 5 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. In their opening game, Grandy defeated Amber Holland (Regina, SK) 8-3, then won 7-1 against Delaney Strouse (Minneapolis , MN) and 8-3 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
Grandy earned 23.375 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel, remaining in 14th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.375 after improving upon their best so far this season. Grandy ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 126.875 points earned so far this season.
